These Minimalistic Clean Makeup Finds Are Perfect for Spring

Because I’m spending 99.9% of my time outside during the spring, one thing I typically never prioritize is makeup. I’m already super minimal when it comes to applying makeup, but the few products I do use are multipurpose, light, shimmery and carefree (psst…not surprisingly, this seems to be the trend for 2022). During the warm months, I typically ditch a heavier foundation for a lightly tinted SPF and add a bit of color and shimmer with fun products like an eyeshadow or lip gloss. I also love to keep my eyebrows full and defined, but tend to leave the mascara behind—who knows if we’ll end up at the pool or outdoors hiking? No thanks, racoon eyes! Not to mention, I love any product in the spring that travels easily and follows my less-is-more lifestyle.
So, are you ready to achieve this ultimate laid-back spring look? Keep scrolling for four minimalistic makeup must-haves for spring!
1. Tower 28 // SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation

Shop SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation ($30)
SunnyDays is a 2-in-1 mineral sunscreen foundation with broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 30 protection. Not only does it even redness and soothe UV-stressed skin—it also maintains a natural finish to show off your freckles, moles, and real skin! The best part? It features 14 flexible shades with light-medium buildable coverage.
2. Kari Gran // Rosie Gold Lip Whip

Shop Rosie Gold Lip Whip ($25)
The perfect blend of lip balm and lipstick! Rosie Gold Lip Whip is a barely-peach, rosy color that mixes your favorite blush tone with a light gold shimmer for a sun-kissed, natural look. Made with vitamin-rich organic sunflower and camellia oil, this lip whip is super hydrating for those harsh, humid days.
3. Kosas // 10-Second Shimmer Eyeshadow

Shop 10-Second Shimmer Eyeshadow ($15)
Makeup that takes 10 seconds to apply? Sign me up. This clean eyeshadow glides on like gel to make your eyes instantly pop. I’m loving the shimmer shade for spring—it’s a neutral beige champagne tone to give your eyelids a little depth and glow.
4. Youthforia // BYO Color Changing Blush

Shop BYO Color Changing Blush ($36)
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you—there’s only one shade of this beauty staple. Two words: color changing. The secret? It reacts to your skin’s natural pH to instantly give you the perfect shade of natural flush. Plus, it visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines (fun fact: the founder of Youthforia slept in BYO Blush for 2 months and woke up with better skin).
